I love fall. After all the sticky hot days of summer, the cool crisp air is a welcome change. The colours are beautiful, and I’m not complaining about the pumpkin flavoured everything either.
It’s also a time of year we love taking long drives.
One of the nice things about living so close to the border, besides the fact we can still go shop at Target (oh how I miss you here), is that we can take a road trip and avoid all the craziness of Toronto traffic.
Letchworth State Park is easily one of the nicest spots to take in the fall colours. Know as “The Grand Canyon of the East”, it was voted as USA Todays Best State Park as chosen by the readers. Pretty high praise when you think of all the competition. But after one visit, and you can see why. The Genese River, 3 waterfalls, towering cliffs, everywhere you look is postcard worthy.
One of those places you keep wanting go back and visit again and again.
